It is the discipline making it possible to deduce psychological operation from an individual starting from the shape of his face. It was rested by Doctor Louis Corman (1901-1996). Jan Spinetta was his pupil as from 1980. He is currently a vice-president of the French Society of Morphopsychology and president of the Italian Company.

Bases of the morphopsychology
Doctor Corman based his search on the law of dilation-retraction. Impassioned physiognomy, the ancestor of Morphopsychologie, it ran up against the analytical and reducing aspect of this vision of the man when arrived to him the intuition which was going to give access to him a global vision of the relation between form and psychism.
The law of dilation-retraction stipulates that two forces are at the origin of life: a force of expansion which pushes the individual to be developed, grow and go from front and a force of conservation leading it to put its organization in security when a danger arises.
The force of expansion is the characteristic of childhood and the force of conservation that of old age.
The force of expansion results in the round form, dilated and forces it conservation by the retracted form, lengthened.
Doctor Corman deduced from it that the dilated faces translate the child psychology and the retracted faces that of the old man.

Then it establishes the intermediate stages of the life corresponding to the second part of childhood, adolescence, to the young adult and maturity.
Thus constituted, this discipline could take its essort under the impulse of its founder and since his death, under the aegis of the founded French Company in 1983.
